Expanded Steel Gratings

Used extensively in industrial settings to enclose machinery and protect personnel, it is also an extremely lightweight option for supporting certain pedestrian and light machinery loads. Its familiar diamond-shaped pattern is also used in situations requiring a decorative appearance. Expanded metal is made from a process that begins with a solid plate, which is then‘slit’ by a series of dies to create diamond patterns of varying configurations. The resulting product is lightweight and easy to fabricate on-site.
